today i went back to work. honestly, it wasn't a bad day at all. the kids were glad to be back and i even got to sneak away during my lunch to see my little man at home for a few minutes! malachi had been in the GREAT care of dawn buckelew (buckelewfamily.blogspot.com) while his ghi was recovering from knee replacement surgery. ghi is recovered and she was back on duty today! i think they both loved it! dawn is going in for some major brain surgery tomorrow so please check out her blog and pray for God's will to shine through all our human insecurities!
on a much lighter note, kai has an ear infection (he's had it for 2 weeks...hasn't really gone away yet). he's on round 2 of anti-biotics and goes back in a few weeks to make sure everything's cleared up. AND...his birthday party is coming up!!!! it will be on the 30th so save the date! (invitations to come)
i can't believe my baby will be ONE YEAR OLD in a few weeks! saying God has changed me in the past year doesn't even do the transformation justice. God is God and we are not. plain and simple. :)
