steve surprised malachi and i MAJORLY by showing up friday night (instead of late saturday)!!!! YAY!!!!! we spent an entire family day together saturday and it couldn't have been more wonderful! sunday morning was dear to our hearts as our church bid us farewell with a breakfast and love pouring from our leaders and kids at bear creek. we will be there one more sunday and i still can't believe we're really leaving! wow! it's crazy!!
malachi and i joined steve back on the island from sunday until monday. God's beautiful hands orchestrated the perfect house for us and we signed the lease monday night!!! WAHOOO!!!! steve will be set to move in to it on june 1st! malachi and i will join him by the end of june. :)
God is really changing me...and i LOVE it!!! He has taken a callused, cold heart and completely melted it with the reality of the call He's given us all----be like Christ. the "Christ" in my head for so long was MY version of him, not who He truly was. He was so much more than we give Him credit for and was completely selfless. upon steve's urging, i am reading the book "Radical" by david platt and within the first few paragraphs, my heart was already dripping. i am completely humbled by the God i am getting to truly know and amazed at just how much He genuinely cares for me and my precious family.
as for now, i must go...a certain little boy decided it's NOT his bedtime....hahaha. joke's on him!
