It's great. But not in the way that you might think. Yes, the ocean is within walking distance from where I call home right now. Yes, the sunset is breathtaking. But God has been confirming the decision for months and months and even more so as I've stepped smack dap in the middle of it. He has been revealing His plans for this ministry, it's staff that I now hold spiritual direction over, and our lives in tangible ways through open doors, situations, and ultimately His Word.
We've got a group of Canadians down with us this week doing some amazing work getting the facility ready for more than 1500 volunteers to make their way through OneMission this summer. The task ahead of us is staggering but we couldn't be more excited and humbled to rely on His provision and witness the impossible through what He will do.
The residence search is on trying to find a place for us to call home for the time being. The search for a ride back to Katy on Saturday is on as well. It's difficult being away from Molly and my little precious boy, Malachi. More than I thought it would be. I can't wait for them to join me here.
And by the way, I've never been more tired in my life. I like it.
More later...
