I went to my ob/gyn yesterday for my 24-week check-up and everything is going GREAT!!! We (Zeek and I) are so healthy and happy this time around and he is moving like crazy every day! We are still scheduled for October 25th but we know that things can change at the drop of a hat! :)
Dr. Levin said we will continue to monitor my blood pressure as we get closer to the "big day". (Malachi visited us two weeks early due to my sky-rocketing bp). It was slightly elevated this visit, but nothing to cause any concern about. She said to take it easy and enjoy my toddler! We go back in 4 weeks for the dreaded diabetes screening where I get to drink that liquid "crack"...it tastes like pure orange fanta syrup and it makes the baby go NUTS!!! It's not as bad as people make it out to be, though. Then, after 28 weeks, it's time to see her every 2 weeks! AHHH!!! ALREADY?! We don't have ANYTHING done!!!! AHHH!!!
Zeek's room is still the deafult pink color that the former tenant painted, all the baby stuff is in the attic, we have NO ROOM in our bedroom for the cradle, and MUCH MORE TO DO!!! (Including unpacking the last few boxes we shoved into "the pink room")....So if anyone is dying to be productive these days, PLEASE COME HELP!!! I still need to pick out nursery stuff, register for stuff, and ahh...soo much to do!
Thankfully, our God is a God who created PEACE!
